It all starts at the workbench, facing the raw material, with an aspiration: to capture the intensity of a flame, the fiery glow of a brazier or the lively heat of embers. It is from this vision that Incandescence was born.

Continuing the artistic quest for my chaotic and pixelated patterns, Incandescence illustrates the moment when the darkness ignites. Each wooden block is designed like a spark, creating a spectacular chromatic transition that rises from dark to light.

Behind the striking aesthetic of Incandescence lies extremely demanding craftsmanship. To better understand the value of this piece, here is what makes up its DNA:

To obtain this flamboyant gradient without any pigment or dye, we only assemble precious wood species with deep natural shades. Here black walnut, amaranth, padauk and maple.

Designed with the wood fibers oriented vertically (end grain), this board offers the ultimate in culinary quality.

Manufacturing Incandescence requires a long, meticulous process with no room for error.
