Terms and conditions of sale
Consolidated version of 15 October 2026
Les P’tits Bouts d’Bois, Yann MEEDER, 17 Grand Rue, 67700 Haegen.
SIRET: 893 269 316 00012.
Article 1 — Purpose and scope
These general terms and conditions of sale (T&Cs) set out the rights and obligations of Les P'tits Bouts d'Bois, hereinafter "LPBB", and its customers for the sale of products and, where applicable, services offered by LPBB. They apply to orders placed on the website lpbb.fr, on quotation, and to orders placed at fairs, markets and exhibitions.
The products concerned include in particular the wooden creations made by LPBB — cutting boards, serving boards, lamps, decorative objects, game boards, frames, furniture and other creations — including made-to-order or personalised pieces, as well as manufacturing plans and digital content offered for sale.
The applicable version is the one in force and accepted on the date the order is placed.
Article 2 — Orders
Before finally confirming an online order, the customer can check the details of the order, the products or options selected, the quantities, the total price and any additional costs, and correct any errors. Final confirmation is made with a button that states unambiguously that the order involves an obligation to pay.
Product pages may show the statuses "Available", "Made to order" or "Sold out". Where a piece is unique or made in a limited series, the stock displayed is the number of pieces actually offered for sale.
Payment by bank transfer and stock reservation: where payment by bank transfer is chosen, the products concerned are reserved for five (5) calendar days from the confirmation of the order. If payment is not received within this period, LPBB may cancel the order and put the products back on sale.
Article 3 — Prices
Prices are shown in euros. Where LPBB benefits from the VAT exemption for small businesses, the statement "VAT not applicable — article 293 B of the French General Tax Code" appears on the relevant documents. Unless otherwise stated, delivery costs are not included in the product price: their amount is communicated before the order is finally confirmed. Quotations are valid for thirty (30) days.
Article 4 — Manufacturing and execution lead times
The applicable lead time is the one shown on the product page, the quotation or the order confirmation. For complex pieces and some creations in the Signature range, the manufacturing time may be up to eight (8) weeks where this was clearly stated to the customer before the order was placed. Any delay resulting from missing information or late approval by the customer postpones the schedule accordingly.
Article 5 — Payment
For orders placed on the site, the payment methods offered are bank card and bank transfer. Orders placed on the site are payable in full at the time of the order. In the case of payment by bank transfer, the order is considered paid only once the funds have actually been received.
For orders on quotation, a deposit of 30% of the total amount including VAT is requested when the quotation is accepted, unless different conditions are stated in it. The deposit paid is not automatically a sum definitively acquired by LPBB in the event of cancellation.
For business customers, any late payment automatically gives rise to penalties at the ECB refinancing rate plus ten points, together with a fixed compensation of 40 euros for recovery costs.
Gift vouchers: LPBB offers gift vouchers for any amount from €50. The code and a printable voucher are sent by email as soon as payment is received. A voucher is valid for twelve (12) months from issue, on all products on the site, delivery costs included. It can be used in one or several goes: the remaining balance stays available until the end of its validity. Only one code (gift voucher or promotional code) may be used per order. A voucher cannot be used to buy another gift voucher, is neither redeemable for cash nor exchangeable, and is not replaced if the code is lost or stolen. Once the validity period has passed, any remaining balance can no longer be used. If an order paid with a voucher is cancelled or refunded, the corresponding amount is credited back to the voucher.
Article 6 — Delivery, receipt, installation
Products are delivered using the methods and to the areas offered at the time of the order. Furniture, oversized pieces and projects requiring specific organisation are subject to a transport price set on quotation.
Where the customer is a consumer, the risk of loss or damage is transferred when they take physical possession of the goods. The customer is asked to check the condition of the parcel on receipt and, in the event of visible damage, to note precise reservations on the carrier's document.
Digital plans: manufacturing plans are not shipped. They are made available for download (PDF file) as soon as payment is received, through a link sent to the email address of the order and from the customer area, without any need to create an account. The file is made out in the buyer's name.
Article 7 — Right of withdrawal
Where they are a consumer and the contract was concluded at a distance, the customer has, except for statutory exceptions, a period of fourteen (14) days to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to give a reason. The right of withdrawal is exercised by an unambiguous statement sent to Write to us.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. The mere fact that a product is marked "Made to order" is not, in itself, enough to remove the right of withdrawal.
Withdrawal form — to be sent to Les P'tits Bouts d'Bois, 17 Grand Rue, 67700 Haegen, Write to us: "I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract relating to the following order: [reference / product]. Ordered on [date], received on [date]. Name: [first name and surname]. Address: [address]. Date: [date]."
Digital content: in accordance with Article L. 221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and express acknowledgement that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal. When ordering a digital plan, the customer is asked to expressly request immediate access to the file and to acknowledge that they lose their right of withdrawal as soon as the download begins; without this statement the order cannot be placed. This waiver applies only to digital plans: the other products in the same order keep the right of withdrawal set out above. LPBB confirms this agreement by email with the order confirmation.
Gift vouchers: buying a gift voucher carries the fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal, as long as the voucher has not been used, on request to Write to us.
Article 8 — Warranties
The products sold benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code). The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to enforce the legal guarantee of conformity, and two years from discovery of the defect for the guarantee against hidden defects.
Natural characteristics of wood: the customer acknowledges that solid wood is a natural material whose colour, grain, texture, knots and contrasts may vary from one piece to another, and whose colour changes over time and with light. These features do not in themselves constitute a defect. These provisions do not exclude either a genuine lack of conformity or a hidden defect.
Conditions of use: wood reacts to variations in temperature and humidity. Products must be protected from prolonged exposure to water, damp and heat sources. For cutting boards, the care recommendations available on the site must be followed.
Any warranty request may be sent to Write to us, with the order reference and a description of the problem encountered.
Article 9 — Retention of title
LPBB retains ownership of the products sold until the sums due have been paid in full. This retention of title does not change the rules on the transfer of risk set out in article 6.
Article 10 — Liability
LPBB is liable for the performance of its obligations as provided for by law and the contract. The customer must provide accurate information and report any known constraints likely to affect the design, manufacture, delivery or installation. These limitations cannot reduce the statutory guarantees granted to consumers.
Article 11 — Intellectual property and manufacturing plans
LPBB retains all its intellectual property rights in its original creations, plans, drawings, photographs, texts and designs. The sale of a physical object does not involve any transfer of these rights.
The purchase of a digital plan grants a non-exclusive, personal and non-transferable licence of use for private, non-commercial purposes: the customer may make the object described for their own use. The price is the one shown on the plan's page. The file itself may not be sold, assigned, shared or republished, and objects made from the plan may not be marketed without LPBB's written agreement. Each file is made out in the buyer's name: their name, email address and order reference appear at the foot of the pages.
Article 12 — Complaints, mediation and disputes
Any complaint may be sent in writing to Write to us.
If a dispute arises that cannot be settled amicably despite the goodwill of both parties, it may be agreed to call on the services of a mediator.
These T&Cs are governed by French law.
Article 13 — Personal data
The data controller is Les P'tits Bouts d'Bois. Data is processed to manage requests, orders, payments, deliveries, invoicing and after-sales service. The rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability are exercised at Write to us. Details are set out in the site's privacy policy.
Article 14 — General provisions
These T&Cs, the accepted quotation, the product page and the order confirmation form the applicable contractual whole. If any clause is declared void, the others remain applicable. The French version of these T&Cs is the reference contractual version.
