Designed for enthusiasts of the noble game and lovers of beautiful objects, the Stratège chessboard reinvents the great classic in a contemporary and sober aesthetic. Its checkerboard with perfectly fitted squares combines the softness of maple with the depth of walnut, all surrounded by a slate-effect Valchromat border. Laser engraved numbers and letters.
Each box is assembled by hand in my Alsatian workshop with rigorous finishing requirements. Protected by a matte varnish capable of preserving the natural feel of the wood, this chessboard constitutes as much an exceptional playing field as a timeless decorative object.
